Are You Communicating With Your Applicants?

We have all seen the articles and studies that indicate continual communication with Applicants is essential in today’s hiring environment. Communication can come in many forms and does not have to be in the form of an email, text, or phone call.  Think Self-Service!

Image 28 has a new enhancement that makes it simple for you to provide Applicants with information about where their application is within your recruiting process.  You control the verbiage.  It is a simple setup. I imagine it will take you longer to develop the wording than actually implementing the enhancement.

Applicants can easily see their status on their My Applications Page and the information button gives you the ability to give them additional information.






The setup page is delivered empty so that you can create your own status information.  Here is an example of what I set up for my testing.  As you can see, the Status Description can be quite long.

Next, I just mapped the Candidate Application Status to the Recruitment Summary on the Status Recruitment Area Rules.  The drop down is arranged by the Order By field on the Candidate Application Status page.  Then do not forget to set your Candidate Application Status to Active.
