Since the last edition of Partner Insight the last half of Oracle's FY11 saw a lot of success and impressive engagement with our partners. One of the many successes that I am very proud of is that we were chosen as the European Vendor of the Year by EMEA channel partners in the IT Europa European Excellence Awards. It's not every day that you receive such endorsement, and I am deeply honoured.
Further, the drive towards specialization is stronger than ever, and by the end of our fiscal year we overachieved on our target and we now have over 1,500 fully specialized partners in EMEA. The range and depth of expertise that these partners possess is truly impressive, and it is great news for customers that they have so many more specialized partners to choose from.
The Global Oracle PartnerNetwork Kick Off on June 28th contained a host of deep content on the global partner strategy, and I would encourage you to take one hour to watch this kick off to get the latest news and announcements.
