ORACLE EMEA ALLIANCES & CHANNELS:
Senior Vice President, Alliances and Channels,
I'm very pleased to welcome Tim Payne, our Vice President of Marketing for Oracle in EMEA, as guest VP to this edition of Partner Insight. Marketing performs an essential function by generating customer demand and readiness for Oracle solutions, enabling you to move opportunities forward and develop incremental business. Tim's article explains clearly how Oracle's marketing machine is doing just that, and I strongly urge all partners to familiarize yourselves with, and participate in, the events and campaigns run by Oracle. In addition, Christian Peter's review of Partner Marketing describes how you can use Oracle marketing resources to run your own campaigns and get engaged with joint initiatives. Targeted partner marketing is critical to our strategy to develop the Broad Market and investment in it will yield great rewards.
A review of our last quarter shows a good overall performance for Alliances & Channels in EMEA. Overall we saw a growth in Broad Market revenue and pipeline, and a trend away from the Top Accounts, which already gives a strong validation of our commercial model. Engineered Systems and Red Stack solutions are growing well, and the core technology business continues to thrive with some really impressive partner wins to highlight across the region.
As you know we are now in the middle of Oracle's Q4 and year end so all our focus and energy is directed towards closing business. There is a large pipeline of all those excellent opportunities you entered into OMM; now is the time to close them, and make sure you use all the resources in my team and the Oracle partner ecosystem to help you. Keep tracking the progress, but always invest in your marketing capabilities to build your pipeline for the new year.
I wish you ongoing success with Oracle, and thank you for your continued collaboration and support.
