Oracle EMEA Alliances and Solutions Partner Programs
This year's Oracle OpenWorld promises to be an event to remember. In addition to the thousands of presentations, keynotes and workshops available, partners can expect a number of new product reveals, announcements and initiatives that will help them open up new market opportunities, satisfy customer demand and propel them to even greater success.
While I can't reveal any concrete details here (much as I'd like to), I can highlight some of the product groups and other areas in which partners can expect to hear some exciting news.
Partners and customers alike are demanding solutions with easier deployment and increased flexibility at a lower cost. Oracle's expanding portfolio of cloud computing offerings, Engineered Systems and Fusion Applications are helping meet this demand, and partners can expect to hear more about these at Oracle OpenWorld.
Oracle's Engineered Systems in particular have proven popular with partners. Oracle Exadata solutions integrate best of breed software and industry standard hardware to provide extreme performance, incredibly easy deployment and very fast return on investment. Despite the success of these systems, many partners are eager for opportunities to address an even bigger customer base. And while I haven't got any official news for you, let's just say that those requests haven't fallen on deaf ears...
Independent software vendors will be pleased to hear some more announcements around Oracle Exastack. This initiative helps partners run their applications on Oracle Exadata Database Machine and Oracle Exalogic Elastic Cloud, and benefit from the lower cost, higher performance infrastructure these solutions provide. There's likely to be further news around the Oracle Exastack and ISV "Ready" accreditations, so partners interested in building on the Exastack platform should definitely watch out for that!
We know that many of our partners are waiting for more information about Oracle Fusion Applications, the next generation of Oracle business solutions: complete open standards-based software designed to lower costs, ease deployment either on-premise or as software-as-a-service and increase productivity. Well... watch this space!
And all of the above is just a taste of what you can expect in San Francisco this October. So whether you're an independent software vendor, a value added reseller or a systems integrator, there's going to be a lot to see and hear at Oracle OpenWorld 2011. And remember that partners can get engaged first—before customers and before the press—by attending the Oracle OpenWorld OPN Forum on Sunday 2nd October, 2011.
