Oracle Doc is Now Google-Friendly

As announced some time ago, official Oracle Documentation is being indexed by Google as we speak.

This will be a great help to Oracle newbies who otherwise would not have been exposed to the doc unless they thought to become OTN members.

"It's a good thing," as Martha would say.

Yes! No offense to the guys who run tahiti or otn -- but getting Oracle's official docs is a nice improvement. In the past you would sometimes get Oracle docs in a google resultset -- it's an improvement to have the official (and hopefully updated/revised) docs indexed. So what can you do about getting relevant portions of metalink indexed? :-)

There are many reasons this wasn't possible until recently. But hey, now it is, thank goodness. You won't ever see MetaLink indexed because of the (necessary) authentication requirement.
