Just for fun, Windows 7 running in VB on OpenSolaris

What can I say, just had to do it :-)

Comments:

The fonts don't compare well.

Not only that; on my laptop W7 (768MB) under VB under OpenSolaris 2009/04 (snv_105) with 3D on is actually faster than Vista on the same hardware on bare metal with 2GB memory...

There you are...

Did someone manage to install guest addition in W7? =)

Yes, You have to change the compatibility mode of the VB guest additions programs before starting to make it think it's on Vista.

Yes, I did; you have to perform the installation in Vista compatibility mode. The default installation complains that the additions do not yet support that OS.

I could not get the connection to the shared folder, though - it did not show as a provider. Otherwise it seems to be working.
