We like to hear your stories. We really like to hear from young people passionate about technology who represent our future.

You may have read on this blog about Andy Nilson, a 14-year-old Java enthusiast from Mountain View, California, or Holden Dinerman, a home-schooled student from Alexandria, Virginia who achieved Oracle Java Certification nearly three years ago. These stories from opposite US coasts inspire us!

Today, October 11, we recognize International Day of the Girl Child, declared by the United Nations to focus on girls' rights and the unique challenges girls face around the world.

This day is meant to bring attention to the continued empowerment of girls and ensuring the fulfillment of their human rights. Girls are standing up, breaking down walls, innovating, learning, growing and leading.

In recognition of this day, we would like to invite girls and young women who are certified in an Oracle technology to tell us the story of your journey to become certified and how certification has benefited you. These smart, talented young men mentioned above are not alone in their pursuit of learning. Let's hear from the ladies!

Let us help you tell your story.
