Customer feedback helps Oracle University build learning products that resonate with current daily tasks people need to perform.
Based on recent customer feedback, we used customer contributions to create an all-new Linux course curriculum.
The new courses are the result of the team improving, updating, and expanding the Oracle Linux curriculum based on customer responses and latest technologies. Our goal is to empower students with a comprehensive set of administration skills that extend the use and create new skills for end-users on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and on-premises platforms.
This curriculum also offers extended training on key components of the Oracle Linux Cloud Native Environment.
Customers: realized there was too much content in our previous courses, and students were finding it difficult to get through all the material.
Oracle: if we created three courses instead of two, it would be more realistic to cover the material in five-day increments, allowing customers to absorb the lessons at a better pace.
Customers: wanted Oracle to teach additional topics that instructors and previous students had requested.
Oracle: creating three courses allowed us to include these extra lessons and provide a better overall experience for end-users.
Customers: wanted us to provide content on a newer environment.
Oracle: developing new courses allowed us to update the student environment to a new version of Oracle Linux and UEK (OL7 Update 5 with UEK R4). Oracle was also able to leverage the University Cloud Infrastructure for two of the three new courses.
We are excited to announce the all-new Oracle Linux three-course curriculum that was made possible with the advice of our end-users, Oracle’s commitment to quality training, and our in-house experts who strive to showcase the value that Oracle brings.
This comprehensive training solution covers the latest Oracle Linux implementations. Take this course to develop your skills to use the Oracle Linux Cloud Native Environment and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
