Shifting to the cloud can be challenging. An effective and continuous learning strategy is critical to ease the challenges and get up and running in the cloud quickly.

A more informed user better understands the implications of a cloud shift, including changes in work function as well as the impact on culture and business strategy. Cloud applications are fluid, with frequent updates pushed to the user; therefore, ongoing learning and education are paramount to ensure effective use of the cloud and happy, productive employees.

A strategy and access to continuous learning in the flow of work will enable users to:

  • Save time (and money) by minimizing disruption to work
  • Keep current with frequent cloud updates

In a recent Oracle University live webinar, Solution Consulting Director, Susan Korbey presented the latest innovations Oracle has deployed in our Guided Learning solution. Korbey demonstrates how Oracle’s Digital Adoption Solution helps organizations confidently embrace the cloud and bring new users up to speed quickly and accurately, while also complying with unique company policies.

The solution also enables employees to stay current with each cloud release and/or company process or policy change.

We invite you to watch the replay of this webinar. In addition to understanding more about how you can build a strategy that supports learning in the flow of work, we share tips on how to engage today’s modern learner – a learner who embraces immediate and easy access to the information they need.

In addition, we share success rates among trained teams vs. untrained teams. This is a “not to miss” session to ensure your organization’s success in the cloud.

Highlights include:

Education trends and approaches that suit the modern learner, including current statistics on the effects of education on cloud adoption.

Introducing this topic, Korbey states: “We are in another pivotal point where we’re moving from just digital learning in the learning environment to actually learning more in the flow of work. This is accommodating the new workforce that’s coming in – the modern learner."

Statistics and first-hand narratives on the effectiveness of cloud adoption in trained vs. non-trained teams.

In the webinar, Korbey explains, “When your core team is trained appropriately to work effectively with your SIs and they have those skills that they need to make decisions quickly and be able to make accurate decisions on how to implement the solution itself, 90% of customers surveyed actually met their project milestones, versus just 50% of those that didn’t embark in any kind of a training or learning and enablement program.”

View a demonstration of the Guided Learning solution in a live Oracle HCM Cloud application. See step-by-step guidance for specific human resources processes users would follow to easily complete tasks.

In the demonstration, Korbey notes that with Guided Learning, you can actually let first-time users know they won’t have to go through systems navigation training or seek out job aids because “Guided Learning is going to be there” to alleviate those learning needs, with just-in-time guidance.
