Expert. Leader. Master. Elite.

These are just some of the ranks achieved by the many Oracle Cloud students who have begun their education on Oracle applications in Oracle LaunchPad.

Now, less than one year after launching Oracle's first free training platform for introductory SaaS education, Oracle University has welcomed more than one million visitors to Oracle LaunchPad

Cloud Training for All--One Million and Beyond

Are you one of the million? With the broad range of training topics available, it's likely that whatever your cloud skill level, there's something you can learn in Oracle LaunchPad.

Oracle LaunchPad was developed by Oracle University as a quick and easy way for anyone to start learning about Oracle Cloud applications. The platform gives free access to thousands of topics built on a modern, easy-to-navigate platform with powerful filtering that allows you to search and learn about specific cloud topics of interest.

The addition of an expanded learning profile dashboard, shown below, lets users customize training preferences and view progress and achievements in one view. The Oracle University team plans to continue to build upon the training platform, making updates for new releases and adding new training topics, categories, and enhancements.

Building Community...and Training Legends

Besides gaining access to FREE cutting edge cloud technology education, students have the opportunity to engage with other Oracle customers and partners through the Oracle Cloud Customer Connect Community--and receive recognition in the community for Oracle LaunchPad achievements.

Rashmi Bali Shelake, of GlobalMinds, was Oracle LaunchPad's first student to achieve the Elite rank, the platform's highest rank. In doing so, she was honored in the Cloud Customer Connect Community's Hall of Fame with a Member Spotlight feature.

Describing the convenience of Oracle LaunchPad, Rashmi said the platform is the most efficient and flexible way to consume knowledge anytime, anywhere on her own terms.

When asked what it is about Oracle LaunchPad that she appreciates most, Rashmi replied, "I absolutely love the idea of testing knowledge in small portions – three questions per topic. This is simple, yet powerful when it comes to retaining knowledge."

Rashmi’s primary training focus areas are data, business intelligence, and reporting as they apply to the major Oracle SaaS products (HCM, Financial, EPM, PPM, Sales, etc.). She believes this type of expertise is a great advantage for any business professional.

Introductory to Advanced: Benefits for Oracle LaunchPad Users

So, how is Oracle University celebrating the wide reach and success of its Oracle LaunchPad training platform? With more training, of course!

Oracle University Cloud Marketing Director, Elisa Roberts, said the free offering has 'more to offer' with upcoming promotions that will be available exclusively to Oracle LaunchPad students.

"Oracle LaunchPad is just the beginning when it comes to gaining skills, knowledge, and credentials in Oracle Cloud," Roberts said. "With special savings on our advanced training offerings, we want to spark a hunger in students to go beyond the basics and gain additional, career-boosting skills and even official Oracle Certification."

Oracle LaunchPad users will receive more information about exclusive promotions.
