Oracle University is proud to present a new learning solution for quick Cloud adoption: Guided Learning for Oracle Cloud applications.

Oracle Guided Learning significantly accelerates Oracle Cloud adoption by making it easier for an organization to immediately bring its users up to speed with SaaS processes across time zones, languages, and roles in a predictable and measurable manner.

As a result, employees will become more productive and will be able to keep current with each Cloud release. Organizationally, you will experience reduced support and enablement costs and will have the confidence required to thrive in an ever-changing world.

What is Guided Learning?

Oracle Guided Learning is a service that provides step-by-step guides for Oracle Cloud applications.

Oracle University offers a library of readymade guides for HCM, ERP, Talent, Procurement, Sales, CPQ, and SCM. In addition, you can commission personalized guides, tailored for your unique organizational needs.

What’s Different about Guided Learning?

Oracle Guided Learning is the only learning tool for Oracle Cloud currently to offer guides based on roles and positions. Oracle content experts design and create the guides for HR professionals, sales representatives, database administrators, finance directors, as well as many other enterprise roles working on Oracle Cloud applications.

  • Guides are updated with each software release
  • This minimizes disruption during upgrades, as Oracle users can continue using the application with ease and without interruption
  • During upgrades, in-application product release notes are provided when the user logs in, offering immediate information about new features and product changes

Feature Highlights

Here is a quick glance at some of Guided Learning’s top features:

Rich Media

This feature makes it possible to embed images, videos, GIFs, and other forms of media into guides. These media items bring a lively element into the guides to engage users.

Task Lists

Task lists are designed to create learning plans, allowing the person in charge of training to build a structured training process that is just right for each user. Users can strike out guides they have completed and training professionals can easily track their progress.

Guided Learning Widget

The Guided Learning Widget is a gateway to Oracle University’s rich library of content. Located on the side of the screen, users can open the widget and search for specific guides they need. It is a searchable, always available resource for users who need help.

User Feedback

Collecting basic user feedback has never been simpler: this feature empowers Oracle University to learn if a guide has been helpful, whether it needs improvement, or whether users disliked it. This simple, intuitive feature helps Oracle connect to users and constantly improve the learning process.

Is it possible for an end-user at a company to become Guided Learning Certified or trained to do it in-house rather than going through Oracle each time an edit or update is needed?

    Hi Penny,

The capability of updating content in a guide was made available in a later version of Oracle Guided Learning, no certification needed. You can read about it here: https://blogs.oracle.com/oracleuniversity/revolutionize-saas-adoption
I've updated this blog post to include a referral to the newer version.
