What this means for you
If you were planning on taking the 2019 exam we encourage you to reschedule to the new 2020 exam.
If you still choose to take the 2019 exam, you can but there are two important dates you need to know:
1. You won't be able to schedule any 2019 exam beyond May 31, 2020.
2. You won't be able to take any 2019 exam beyond August 31, 2020.
Certification credentials are valid for 18 months once successfully achieved.

When is the 2020 version of Autonomous Database Specialist certification coming up? The GLP states in May. Is this still the valid plan or the 2020 release has been postponed?

Thank you Eva. I have a question, I see the "Oracle Certified Master, Java EE 6 Enterprise Architect" path in the list of retiring paths, but it doesn't mention a replacement. This is the end of this certification?

it's cool to have the certifications up to date. it would be even cooler if Oracle could provide voocher to allow the regular to stay on course for new certifications

If I already have scheduled a 2019 exam for July, can I swap it with a 2020 at no extra cost?

As I write this comment we are moving to APEX 21.1, so I think it would be nice to have a new certification for APEX (currently available only for 18).
