New Year. New Oracle Partner Store.

Okay, you may think we’re jumping the gun here, but it’s never too early to start making New Year's resolutions.

What’s on our list? Making it even easier for you to do business with Oracle.

We are proud to announce enhancements to the Oracle Partner Store, coming in 2014. OPN membership processes—including deal registration—will be fully integrated into the system, completing our partner lifecycle automation initiative.

Think about it... a one-step application process. One organized view of all Specializations and Resell Rights. A one-stop shop for Primary Administrators to manage memberships. One place for your deal registration, quoting and ordering.

Oh yes, we did.

#OPNX13: Oracle Partner Interview with Bobby Curtis of Enkitec

We had a chance to catch up with Steve Lemme, Director of Partner Enablement at Oracle. He's been all over #OOW this week, talking to partners about specialization. Below is one interview he had with Bobby Curtis of Enkitec on the Exhibition Hall floor.

A couple of highlights: Bobby talks about his experience building the cloud with Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c product technology and OPN Specialization. He also focuses on the value he’s found in sharing tips and tricks with customers and the rest of the partner ecosystem.

OPN’s 2013 Fiscal Year-End Review

With Oracle’s fiscal year coming to a close, we wanted to take a moment to reminisce on the awesome year it has been and highlight some of the key milestones for OPN.  Here is a look at our top 10 OPN moments from the past year.

PRODUCTS & PROGRAMS:

Oracle SPARC T5 and M5 Servers. From performance to scalability, availability and value, Oracle’s expanded SPARC portfolio is sure to hit a homerun with your customers.

Oracle Database Appliance X3-2. If you are ready to reduce your risk while saving time and money by managing your valuable data and applications, then you have found your solution.

Oracle Cloud programs for partners. These 5 Cloud programs have created some buzz in the Channel. Launched during Oracle OpenWorld 2012, partners can start to capitalize on the growing demand for Cloud solutions with little investment through Oracle Cloud Services Referral Partner program, or choose to get Specialized.

EVENTS:

OPN Exchange @ OpenWorld. Last year marked the first time that partners could attend a comprehensive partner event while at Oracle OpenWorld.  The program was such a success that we are doing it even bigger this year! Join us September 22- 26, 2013 to experience Oracle PartnerNetwork Exchange keynotes, partner-specific conference sessions with targeted tracks, a Test Fest certification program, a dedicated OPN lounge, the exclusive AfterDark OPN reception, and so much more!

Oracle's SPARC T4, 007 Style

The names 4, T4, and this power house travels hand in hand with its good friend SPARC. About 6 years ago on-chip encryption acceleration was first shipped in a commercial system, the SPARC T1. Today, thanks to Oracle SPARC innovative leadership in on-chip encryption acceleration, complex cryptographic computations was born and has since rapidly evolved. Customers can now have security with performance because we my friend, are in the Age of Big Data.
