A little rain or a lot of rain couldn’t get in the way of hosting yet another successful Oracle OpenWorld Tokyo. Last week marked the beginning of this long awaited event which kicked-off right away as 220 Oracle partners from around the world attended the OPN Forum. There, central topics such as Oracle’s global alliance strategy and Oracle’s overall partner strategy were discussed. This event was followed by the Alliances and Channels Knowledge Session which included an ISV Round Table led by our very own Oracle President, Mark Hurd. Throughout the week partners were able to take in keynotes from top Oracle Executives; check out Mark Hurd’s keynote below:
Thursday wouldn’t have been complete without a roundtable of its own - the Partner Executive Roundtable - which was well attended by the dynamic companies that are helping to grow Japan’s booming market. As partners zipped through the Exhibition Hall, many took some time to learn more about the OPN program at large by visiting our OPN booth, and gained a deeper understanding of what it means to ‘Get Specialized’. Throughout the week, over 180 partners joined Oracle’s “Test Fest” which enabled partners to take part in complimentary certification exams for Specialization. We are happy to announce that 49 partners passed!
After adding another victorious Oracle OpenWorld Tokyo to our growing list of events, OPN now anxiously awaits the arrival of Oracle OpenWorld 2012. The only question is… how ready are you?
See you in San Francisco,
