OPN’s 2013 Fiscal Year-End Review

With Oracle’s fiscal year coming to a close, we wanted to take a moment to reminisce on the awesome year it has been and highlight some of the key milestones for OPN.  Here is a look at our top 10 OPN moments from the past year.

PRODUCTS & PROGRAMS:

Oracle SPARC T5 and M5 Servers. From performance to scalability, availability and value, Oracle’s expanded SPARC portfolio is sure to hit a homerun with your customers.

Oracle Database Appliance X3-2. If you are ready to reduce your risk while saving time and money by managing your valuable data and applications, then you have found your solution.

Oracle Cloud programs for partners. These 5 Cloud programs have created some buzz in the Channel. Launched during Oracle OpenWorld 2012, partners can start to capitalize on the growing demand for Cloud solutions with little investment through Oracle Cloud Services Referral Partner program, or choose to get Specialized.

EVENTS:

OPN Exchange @ OpenWorld. Last year marked the first time that partners could attend a comprehensive partner event while at Oracle OpenWorld.  The program was such a success that we are doing it even bigger this year! Join us September 22- 26, 2013 to experience Oracle PartnerNetwork Exchange keynotes, partner-specific conference sessions with targeted tracks, a Test Fest certification program, a dedicated OPN lounge, the exclusive AfterDark OPN reception, and so much more!

Oracle CloudWorld. This event combined both mobile and social in 10+ cities around the globe, including a partner session that reviewed the 5 available OPN Cloud Partner Programs.  Be sure to attend next year because the sky is truly the limit with Oracle Cloud!

Partner Onboarding TrainingHere at OPN, we know that sometimes it is hard being “the new guy”, which is why we have made it easier than ever to join our partner program through training modules available in the Guided Learning Path.

OPN Specialized Activation Center. Designed to help our partners navigate through the steps necessary to become authorized to embed, sell, or implement with Oracle. This is your one stop shop for key on-demand training and information.

Social Marketing for Today’s Digital World video series. This series was designed to help answer your social marketing questions, while giving you the tools needed to build a demand generation campaign and close more deals. Oracle Cloud Services Referral Program… Now Available!

The sky is falling, the sky is falling! Oh wait, it’s not the sky, it’s the Oracle Cloud Services Referral Program! This partner program was announced at Oracle OpenWorld 2012, and is now readily available to any Oracle PartnerNetwork member. In fact you can learn all about this program by simply visiting our Oracle Cloud Knowledge Zone.

Just as a puffy cumulus should, Oracle Cloud Services are included in the Oracle Cloud Services Referral Partner program. Partners can start to capitalize on the growing demand for Cloud solutions with little investment through Oracle Cloud Services Referral Partner program, or choose to get Specialized. Have a look at all that is available below!

  1. Cloud Builder - a Specialization ideally suited for systems integrator and service providers creating private and hybrid cloud solutions with Oracle’s broad portfolio of cloud optimized hardware and software products. Bring on the Cheer, Oracle’s Q3 is Here

Oracle's SPARC T4, 007 Style

The names 4, T4, and this power house travels hand in hand with its good friend SPARC. About 6 years ago on-chip encryption acceleration was first shipped in a commercial system, the SPARC T1. Today, thanks to Oracle SPARC innovative leadership in on-chip encryption acceleration, complex cryptographic computations was born and has since rapidly evolved. Customers can now have security with performance because we my friend, are in the Age of Big Data.

If you need some high speed action in your life, listen here. The SPARC T4 systems offer customers much more value for applications than just increased performance through its cross sell opportunity. This is done by enabling partners to integrate your own applications to Oracle’s SPARC T4 Servers for Cloud deployments, and providing direct business benefits that supersedes the commodity approach to data center computing such as security, performance and optimization.

As companies continue down this complex path of big data, eCommerce, and mobility, the need to provide better and more in-depth security is more prominent than ever. Oracle’s SPARC T4 processor allows customers to deliver the highest levels of application security, as well as deliver the necessary level performance without added cost, and complexity.
