The Social Command Center Returns to Oracle OpenWorld
By Oracle OpenWorld Blog Team on Sep 20, 2013
If you’re just outside the main keynote hall (Moscone North, Hall D) and see something not unlike the bridge of a starship, that’s the Oracle OpenWorld Social Command Center, where social coverage of the conference will be managed live on the @oraclesocial Twitter handle and Oracle Social Facebook page.
Using the Oracle Social Relationship Management platform, the social crew will be writing posts and tweets, posting photos, scheduling posts, watching audience engagement, responding to users, sharing and retweeting others’ great Oracle OpenWorld content, operating a photo feed via the Oracle SRM Content and Apps Instagram module, compiling analytics on social activity around the conference, and more.
If you happen to see the Death Star at the Social Command Center, the Empire has not struck back. We’re giving away a chance to win a Death Star Lego kit…3,803 pieces of galactic fun. Attendees can take a selfie with the Death Star and upload it to Instagram using the hashtag #oraclesocial for a chance to win.
The winner will be announced at the Wednesday morning keynote, and must be present to win.
The Social Command Center is a great way to see the rapid growth of Oracle’s Social Cloud product, which is forming the foundation for the socially enabled enterprise.
