TechCasts Go Live!

Oracle Technology Network TechCasts Begin Live Streaming February 16

During Oracle OpenWorld 2009, we debuted Oracle OpenWorld Live. One of our favorite regular broadcasts was TechCast Live shot live from the OTN Lounge in Moscone West. Justin Kestelyn, Senior Director of OTN, brought you famous guests and timely discussions of each day's most pressing topics right from the show's floor. Well, thanks to popular demand, Justin announced that these live chats will continue in the form of his regular Oracle Technology Network TechCasts, beginning Tuesday, February 16.

By using the live platform we developed for Oracle OpenWorld, you'll be able to shape the discussions on each show. You can use the integrated Livestream chat channel, or share your comments through Facebook Connect or Twitter. This will be a great way for you to get involved in each and every broadcast.

Justin's first guest will be Mark Reinhold, Principal Engineer working on the Java SE Platform, OpenJDK, and "other random things." You can catch Mark and Justin live on the new TechCast Show beginning at 10 .a.m. PT Tuesday.

If you miss a live broadcast, don't worry; you can still catch every TechCast as an iTunes Podast or from the OTN Web site. But we hope to see you there on Tuesday.
