It’s Never Too Early to Plan for Next Year’s Oracle OpenWorld

And it's always good to think ahead.

By Michael Kure

Oracle OpenWorld 2013 may be at a close, but it's not too early to start thinking about next year’s event, to be held September 28 to October 2, 2014.

And why not? For this year's attendees or for others thinking about attending next year, this is the earliest opportunity to sign up to be notified when registration opens for Oracle OpenWorld 2014.

What are the benefits to notification? Knowing that when registration opens up it will be at the absolute lowest cost that will be offered. Not to mention that the earlier you register, the better selection you'll have of hard-to-get hotel rooms.

Exhibitors, too, can start thinking about achieving their sales and marketing objectives at next year’s Oracle OpenWorld. Learn more about 2014 exhibitor opportunities.

Finally, companies interested in 2014 sponsorship opportunities to maximize their branding efforts can get more information about 2014 sponsorships.

Time flies, and Oracle OpenWorld 2014 will be here before you know it. See you next year!

Hi - I'm getting more information from the content team on this. PDFs should begin showing up in Content Catalog late this week. I'll post more detail when I get it.

Any updates on the PDF's / PPTs in the content catalog, it's been almost a whole week after the event and no content has shown up yet!!

Good morning, do you know if finally PDFs will be in content catalog this week?

An update from the content team: If you were a registered attendee you can log into Schedule Builder and access Content Catalog through there right now—you should be able to view/download files (PDF and/or .ppt) for any session that has one (note some speakers chose not to provide files for download).

As for accessing files directly through Content Catalog (for example, for people who weren't registered for the conference), this function is not ready yet—the vendor is resolving some issues. They are trying to get this live as soon as they can.

Hi everyone - presentations can now be downloaded directly from Content Catalog, so are accessible to everyone, whether a registered attendee or not. Again, not all presenters provided files for download, but the majority did. Thanks for your patience.

Hello, anyone know approximately when registration opens for 2014, or when it opened for 2013?

The target is to have registration open by the end of March. In the meantime, you can go to and click on the Get Notified link. That allows you to sign up to be notified when registration officially opens, so you won't miss it.
