Sign Up for Mobile Reminders and Updates at Oracle OpenWorld

mobile.jpgKeep your finger on the pulse of Oracle OpenWorld. Sign up to receive daily notifications about conference events and sessions at the show. Your broadcast reminders, personal schedule reminders, and targeted event reminders will guarantee that you always have the latest news throughout every day of the conference. You can also view your personal event itinerary and set personalized session reminders.

We value your feedback on the conference, so we want to make it easier for you to give. After attending a session, fill out a short survey on the presentation and speakers via your mobile device. Every survey you complete enters you in a daily raffle for a fabulous prize.

If you're staying at a San Francisco Airport Hotel, you can conveniently check in for the conference while you're en route to Moscone Center. Instructions on your shuttle bus will show you how to have your badge waiting for you when you arrive.

You can sign up for the Oracle OpenWorld mobile services beginning on Saturday, September 20. At that time, simply text START to 22848, log in to MyReg, and opt in. (Text charges may apply.)

Your last few lines are a bit confusing. I interpret that to say that we can sign up now, but won't get any notifications until after Sept 20th. I tried to enroll, but get responses that my registration can't be found (tried email addr and reg id as suggested and all 3 ways failed to find me). Am I wrong and we can't even sign up until Sept 20th? If we can't sign up until the 20th, then the responder should say so instead of "try again with email or conference id".

Sorry for the trouble Dan. You can't sign up for the mobile services until September 20. I updated the final paragraph to remove the ambiguity. Many thanks for pointing this out early, so I could revise before too many experienced the same frustration. I'll also pass your comment on to the mobile services folks, and hopefully they can address the issue with the message from the responder.

I'm told that the message from the responder is being updated to avoid any further confusion. Thanks again Dan.
