Download 'em Now: Oracle OpenWorld Presentations

Now available for download: most of the sessions from Oracle OpenWorld.

If you missed sessions, want to review what you learned, or spread the knowledge to others, now you can download most of the sessions presented at Oracle OpenWorld.

There are two ways to access the sessions for download (or online review):

  1. Directly through Content Catalog
  2. Indirectly through Schedule Builder to Content Catalog (registered attendees only)

Note:

- Sessions will be available for download for approximately six months (March 2014)
- Some presenters chose not to make their sessions available

Miss any keynotes? You can access them here.
Miss the great discussions with customers and others on OpenWorld Live? Check them out here

Comments:

Sadly...when it comes to:

"Some presenters chose not to make their sessions available"

this list appears to be dominated by the Oracle-run sessions :-(

Could someone share the Oracle Open World 2013 official session download link by category.

Thanks,

ADN

Very sad to see it is an option to refuse to publish the presentations. It costs a ton to attend this conference (especially if you are from outside US) and spending all that money, only to see a "some choose not to publish" makes me a bit sad. Some presentations was way too fast to take proper notes so that was sessions "wasted" I guess......

Hi - I heard back from the content team on your comment. Here's what they said:

Thanks for the important feedback. Most people do choose to publish their presentations. However, some people do ask us not to publish because their slides contain information that they don’t want disseminated outside of what and how they presented it or the customers who participate don’t want the hard copies made public. Please note that presentations are still being uploaded, so check back often for new files.

The lack of downloadable presentations is very unfortunate. Especially when many of the presenters explicitly said "don't bother with taking pictures, this content will be available later". A little deceptive...kind of like Larry not showing up for the keynote.

Hi "Guest" - heard back from the content team on your October 25 post. Here's their response: We’re still in the process of collecting presentations, so keep checking back. We did change the method of collecting presentations this year, and we’re working through some issues created by that. Thanks for your patience.

Hi,

Is there any difference sharing information between
1.Directly through Content Catalog.
2.Indirectly through Schedule Builder to Content Catalog (registered attendees only).

My supervisor attended the conference and want me to get the session. Or i can ask oracle staff to send the session by mail address?

Hi William - there's no difference. Just two ways of accessing the same files.
