An OTN Night to Remember

Belly Dancers and Trivia Cap Tuesday at Oracle OpenWorld

One of the most-prized items at any Oracle OpenWorld allows you to mingle with other technologists: a ticket to OTN Night. This year was no different.

As soon as you entered the Howard Street Tent, you had a tough decision—head to the east end for the trivia game, or turn west for belly dancing. Thankfully, the party ran long enough for you to do both while enjoying plenty of fine food and refreshments.

Many a technologist was tempted toward the west where belly dancers entertained and posed for pictures with anyone brave enough to share their own moves. But the east end of the Howard Street Tent was packed, too.

BlackBerry sponsored round-after-round of trivia, featuring questions about Oracle, BlackBerry, and San Francisco. Game winners got certificates for a BlackBerry device of their choice, and were entered into a drawing to attend the 2009 BlackBerry Developer Conference in November.

You might have caught some of the fun and frivolity on Oracle OpenWorld Live. Tim and Marius from our hashtag#oow09 show roamed the event—from bar to bar, it seemed—sending their images direct to you. If you missed the party this year, either in person or online, make sure you get a ticket to next year's OTN Night. you can already register for Oracle OpenWorld 2010!
