Top 5 Reasons to Buy a Discover Pass

"What's a Discover Pass, and why should I consider buying one for Oracle OpenWorld?"

Presenting the Top 5 Reasons to Experience Oracle OpenWorld with a Discover Pass:

5. Visit the Exhibition Halls, Showcases, and Oracle DEMOgrounds: A Discover Pass grants you access to the Oracle OpenWorld and JavaOne exhibition halls. What's that mean, exactly? You'll be able to visit more than 400 exhibition booths from a wide variety of exhibitors. (See who's exhibiting here.) You'll also get to check out the Exhibition Hall theater presentations, which are always entertaining.

This year we are expanding the Showcases at Oracle OpenWorld. Showcases are built to help you discover the latest innovations for hot topics like big data, ERP, mobile, and cloud. This is your chance to hear from the experts, network with peers, and learn about the latest technologies in your areas of interest. Take a look at the Showcase Listings. In addition to visiting with Oracle partners, we provide you with the opportunity to test drive Oracle products at Oracle DEMOgrounds. This is a great way to learn about new Oracle products and to meet Oracle product experts in person.

Exhibition Halls provide more than just free pens--you'll get to discover some of the newest tech on the market from both established solution providers and up-and-coming companies. Plus, there's always exciting action on the expo floor. From surprise celebrity appearances, to intense ping pong matches, we can guarantee you will not be bored!

4. Networking Opportunities: It almost goes without saying that the best networking takes place in person. We would venture to say that the very best networking occurs at Oracle OpenWorld. The event is designed with networking in mind. From the expansive seating on Oracle Plaza, to dedicated networking areas like the OTN Lounge, we want you to be able to sneak away from the hustle and bustle of the expo halls to have meaningful conversations that could impact your business.

Preview: OPN Central @ OpenWorld

We heart our Partners. So much so that we have a whole Oracle OpenWorld program dedicated to the Oracle PartnerNetwork. OPN Central @ OpenWorld is the spot for partners to gather insights to grow their business with Oracle. The program is built so partners can soak up knowledge from Oracle executives and other Oracle partners and to hear about Oracle's direction and strategy first-hand.

Union Square

Let's back up--last week Oracle hosted its Partner Kickoff for FY16. The kickoff event outlined Oracle's major focus areas for the next year, and also teased some of the key trends and themes for Oracle OpenWorld 2015. We hope that helped build your excitement for the San Francisco event--it sure did for us! (PS: You can catch the video replay here.)

Many of those themes and trends will be covered at the OPN Central keynote on the first day of Oracle OpenWorld 2015. The OPN keynote will feature Oracle leaders and exciting announcements. (Catch the 2014 OPN Central keynote here.) In addition to the OPN-specific keynote, all partners attending the conference will be invited to attend the main Oracle OpenWorld keynotes (schedule to come soon!), which will feature Oracle executives, customers, and sponsors.
