And if you don’t have a simple and intuitive online application process, you’re not just losing potential candidates but also negatively affecting your employer’s brand.
Financial services and communications company Western Union, an Oracle Talent Acquisition Cloud customer, recently modernized and enhanced its recruiting practices to take advantage of those trends. Amy Bauer and Joshua Navarro from Western Union’s Hire Operations team recently shared insights gained from its transformation.
Amy Bauer: “Oracle Sourcing will allow us to leverage all of our social media sites, and because we are a global company, it’s really important to us to get our brand out in as many different forms as possible. Allowing us to do that via Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn gives us a whole new opportunity to attract and retain candidates. Sourcing will also help to revitalize our employee referral program as well as our talent community for all of our candidates across the world.”
Joshua Navarro: “On a daily basis we are looking at ways to make our experience better for the recruiters and our coordinators, but also to make sure that we’re providing a user-friendly environment and experience for all of our candidates. By taking into consideration external Oracle community feedback, we’re looking at ways to not only make the process better for Western Union internally, but also to make sure all of our applicants at Western Union are having a very positive and user-friendly experience when using our talent acquisition solution.
