You’ve built a strong business case for a new Cloud HCM solution. Now, it’s time to make sure you choose the right partner to lead you down the path. To answer some critical questions about HCM vendors and solution success, Lighthouse Research recently gathered input from 1,000 organizations worldwide about their HR technology implementations to better understand stressors, potential issues, and successes.

This research shows that selecting the right HCM partner will effectively guide HR and IT leaders through the implementation experience and identify areas where processes can be redesigned for optimal results. Further insights demonstrate Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM implementations cause less stress and delays than that of its competitors.

Let’s take a closer look at the most telling survey findings.

All partners are not created equal

The first area the research explored was the implementation process. Not all solutions are created equal and neither are partners. With our industry-leading solution, we far outpaced the competition and the survey data showed the following:

  • 84% of Oracle Cloud HCM implementations went live early or on time
  • Workday users report 50% more implementation delays contributing to 75% higher stress levels
  • SAP customers were 31% more likely to say that they found gaps during the implementation process

“With the right partner to help guide leaders through the experience, identify opportunities for improving data governance, and pinpoint areas where processes can be redesigned for the best results, then the company is likely to have a much better experience.” Ben Eubanks, Principal Analyst at Lighthouse Research & Advisors

Experience matters

The survey also explored the user experience, product features, and customer support after going live on the HCM system. Overall, organizations that were extremely satisfied with their implementations were also more likely to say that the user experience, product features, and customer support met or exceeded their expectations. Check out the following:

  • Over 90% of Oracle users said product met or exceeded their expectations after going live
  • SAP SuccessFactors customers were twice as likely to say that their UX did not meet expectations
  • 63% of customers reported being more productive after implementing Oracle Cloud HCM
  • 37% more Oracle users benefit from increased operational efficiency over that of Workday

Never settle for a solution that may not work for your organization. When exploring HCM partners, if the vendor doesn’t know the challenges you face regularly, you could add time and money to your implementation and deployment, negatively impacting the overall results of the solution. Choosing an HCM vendor with recognized expertise will lead to greater efficiency and better user experiences.
