As the world continues to face increasing concerns about COVID-19, our HR customers are facing big challenges and taking on many new roles. For example, HR leaders in the distribution industry need to hire and onboard new workers at a record pace, while those in retail are having to lay off or furlough large groups of employees. And HR leaders across all industries are turning to the Oracle customer community for advice about how to best manage their workforce and keep their employees safe.
To help answer these questions and provide guidance in a time of uncertainty, we are offering a new webinar series for our current Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) Cloud customers and partners. I will be hosting the first session this Friday, April 10, at 10 a.m. Pacific Time along with Cara Capretta, Oracle vice president of HCM transformation and long-time HR practitioner. During this session, we will ask our customers to share their biggest current HR challenges and lessons learned so far in dealing with COVID-19 ramifications. We’ll also pick the topics that are most interesting to our participants and will continue the conversation at our second session (part of an ongoing series) on Monday, April 13, at 9 a.m. Pacific Time.

This Leadership Series will take place every Monday during April and May, covering a wide variety of current HR topics and speakers.
Moving forward, we hope our “Coaches Corner” series will be a valuable resource for our HCM customers grappling with COVID-19 as well as other HR issues. We have an incredible community of HR leaders that we’re hoping to bring together for support in this unprecedented time. In addition to the Coaches Corner webcast series, you can find other COVID-related activities on Cloud Customer Connect. We have a COIVD-19 Forum that provides customers the ability to ask top-of-mind questions and receive answers from the broader community. This Forum also provides information on products customers are leveraging to solve their business process challenges with Oracle HCM solutions, sample documents, configuration tips and tricks, and even a series of white papers from Oracle and the broader community. For our customers, we also provide product “office hours,” where they can sign up to talk to Oracle HCM and HR technology experts.
These resources are the latest steps in Oracle’s commitment to help the HR community make a difference in the fight against COVID-19. We also recently announced we are offering our Oracle HCM customers free access to the Workforce Health and Safety module in an effort to help keep their employees safe. Our customers are our first priority and we are dedicated to doing everything possible to help them through these challenging times.
We’ve had an incredible outpouring of support from our customers, partners, and employees as we work together to make a difference. I’m proud and humbled to be part of this community and looking forward to what we can accomplish together.
