How to target Thanksgiving recipe seekers

You don’t have to break a wishbone to see success in your Thanksgiving marketing campaign this year – we’re revealing some recipe secrets to help CPG marketers connect with this seasonal audience.



Our data shows that holiday cooks turn to Pinterest more often than other social channels to find the perfect Thanksgiving recipe. In fact, we’ve seen that a preference for Pinterest usually indicates a tangential interest in entertaining and home décor – more must-have categories for your holiday campaign.

We’ve also found that these recipe seekers crank up their search from November 23 to 25, in preparation for Thanksgiving day (an average of 11 percent more users than the previous week).
