Oracle Data Cloud courts engineers at HackerX

Oracle Data Cloud plans to hire more than 50 engineers in the next 6 months!

To kick off this recruiting effort, Oracle Data Cloud hosted a HackerX event on November 4, inviting local data and cloud engineers to learn more about Oracle's DaaS efforts, explore employment opportunities within the Oracle Data Cloud team, and meet executives.

Eric Roza, SVP, Oracle Data Cloud, was on-hand at HackerX to answer questions from engineers and welcome attendees with an overview of the company’s past, present and future.

"We have the biggest and best corporate data science team in Colorado," said Eric Roza, SVP, Oracle Data Cloud. “We really do have a special and vibrant culture here." View a video of the event by visiting the Oracle Data Cloud Facebook page.

Attendees networked with Oracle Data Cloud team members over appetizers and drinks, and even took part in a raffle – with some lucky winners walking away with awesome prizes.

The room was packed with engineers eager to learn more about what makes Oracle Data Cloud so successful in the data sector.

"The Oracle Data Cloud combines the best of start-up culture with the opportunities and impact that come from working for one of the industry's iconic companies," said Roza.

"We have been given the mandate to create an entirely new industry -- Data as a Service -- with the resources, infrastructure, and support that only a large company can provide.”
