If you are interested in furthering your career in a cutting-edge tech group that's located in the Azrieli Center, and the idea of solving huge, data-centric challenges excites you, this is the right place for you.

We are looking for an engineer with experience building analysis systems using MapReduce, Hadoop, Pig/Hive, Redshift, and similar distributed technologies. The position entails being responsible for data processing flows that include collection, storage, and processing of raw data that drives our matching algorithms. The work involves developing systems and tools for data collection, processing, and correction while overcoming the challenges of processing massive amounts of data. If you consider yourself an autonomic engineer with experience in various technologies, a fast learner with a "get things done" mentality, this is the perfect role for you.

How your day-to-day will look

  • Design data processing architecture to analyze massive amounts of data in scalable ways
  • Implement data-crunching processes while considering account performance, scale, availability, accuracy, monitoring, and more
  • Work closely with the research team to implement scalable matching algorithms

What to bring with you

  • At least three years of industry experience in similar positions
  • B.Sc. in Computer Science or 8200/Kehiliya graduate
  • Experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, MapReduce, Pig/Hive, Cascading/Scalding, Apache Spark, Apache Giraph, and GraphLab
  • Experience with Java/Scala and the surrounding ecosystem (Gradle/Maven, etc.)
  • Thorough knowledge and experience with dynamic programming languages such as Python or Ruby
