- Ask the right questions. What is the campaign/marketing objective? How will the campaign or program work? Is there seasonality? What is the campaign reach/spend? Answering these key questions will help define the right data for the right campaign and enable The Data Hotline team to make the best recommendations.
- Scale and quality of audience generally work against one another. Audience scopes can usually be scaled up or down to hit the target reach needed for your campaign, but with larger scale, you may sacrifice some measure of quality.
- Go beyond ask. Audience planners want to give their clients exactly what they want to meet campaign objectives, but the depth and breadth of available data is so huge they may be missing what they need. Try going outside of the box. There are so many data options available that going beyond the original ask to provide a rich, data enhanced audience previously unimagined by the client could pay off big.
