Oracle B2B Load Balncing using BIGIP

Contributed by krishnamoorthy.swamynathan@oracle.com

For configuring LB with Big-P we need to follow the link given below
http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12839_01/web.1111/e13709/load_balancing.htm#i1045186

Additionally, there is a need to perform the following setup in Big-ip so that the HTTP header retains the remote server address.

1. Login to Big-ip

2. Navigate to Local Traffic -> Virtual Servers -> Irule

3. Create a irule (say by name b2b_rule) with following definition and save the rule
when HTTP_REQUEST {
HTTP::header insert CLIENTIP [IP::remote_addr]
}

4. Select the Virtual Server pertaining to your dmz servers and assign the rule
Navigate to Local Traffic -> Virtual Servers -> -> Resources
Under iRule section, update the new irule (b2b_rule)

5. Do the same steps for all Virtual Servers pertaining to your environment
