What would you like to see here?

When I'm writing for this blog, I try to focus on issues and questions that actual Ops Center users are dealing with. As a reader, though, I know that you might have issues or topics that you'd like to see me discuss.

So, I'd like to invite you to let me know if there's any topic that you'd like to discuss. You can leave a comment here, or you can tweet your ideas to our twitter account, @oracleopscenter. Either way, let me know what you'd like to see.

Hi,
can you please summarize:

- Setup of the 3 kinds of notifications
- known problems and workarounds around notifications
- way to reset, configure and test notification settings from the command line

Thanks in advance.

Hello Owen,

I'd really like to see a process on how to set up a cluster within an LDOM server pool.

It looks like from 12.1.2.0 it should be possible, but I can find no documentation on it.

Yun Feng,

The IPMP option wasn't included because of networking limitations. However, we know that people want the option, and we're working on it.

Dave,

Okay. I'll look into that.

Dave,

Are you talking about Oracle Solaris Clusters or Oracle Supercluster?

When you intergrate OPS in a existing environment..
you want to use one user to login (not root) for example emoc and then
su to a role (not root) that has al right the OPS need to install agent or monitor the asset..

I wold like to see some examples on that.

Br Magnus,

You can do a discovery with one set of login credentials and a second set of privileged credentials, yeah. I'll do a post about how to do it.
