Upgrading to Ops Center 2.5

Our engineering team has just released the Ops Center 2.1>2.5 Upgrade. If you're currently using Ops Center 2.1, you can use it to upgrade to 2.5 while preserving your asset and job data.

Before you use the upgrade, take a look at the upgrade documentation and the system requirements for Ops Center 2.5. There are some tasks that you need to perform before upgrading, including upgrading your SLES systems with a required RPM package, backing up your Proxy Controllers, and verifying system requirements (since they've gone up since version 2.1). The new OC Doctor can also help you determine if your system is up to par for version 2.5.

After you confirm that your system can be upgraded, you can get the upgrade either by talking to Sun Support Services or, on Solaris Ops Center installations, by downloading it. Follow the instructions in the documentation, and you'll be running version 2.5.
