After these this two days a team from a JD Edwards Partner will understand the Oracle Systems and learn the differentiators and best practices in System selling. You will get in contact with customer cases and hear why they decided for an Oracle on Oracle solution. We will explain the role of a Value Added Distributor (VAD) and how a JD Edwards Partner can benefit from this relationship.
In Parallel we will explain how JD Edwards EnterpriseOne will be installed and maintained on two strategic Oracle Platforms. The Oracle Database Appliance (ODA) and the Sparc T-5. The hardware architecture and core technologies like Oracle VM and Solaris Operating system basics will be explained and shown. Database and Hardware configuration steps will be discussed. Each candidate will learn how High Availability can be realized. The candidates will get a real life experience and learn about the benefits and cost savings for the customers. They also get an understanding of what skills are required to get this platforms up and running at their customer sites.
The event takes place at the Arrow Office in Brüttisellen (Zurich area, Switzerland) on OCT 23 and 24. Both tracks have different starting and ending times. Please wait for your travel arrangements until you have received the event confirmation.
