Don’t Miss Oracle OpenWorld 2016!

Guest Author

Oracle OpenWorld 2016, held from September 18-22, is not something an Oracle systems partner should miss.

If you haven’t already registered, and cost is a concern, you can still purchase a Discover Pass for a mere $75 that gets you access to all 5 days of keynote presentations, all Exhibition Halls and DEMOgrounds, and attendance to our exclusive partner and customer reception Tuesday night (RSVP here).  All this while attending one of the biggest and best events on earth in one of the truly great cities in the world.  It doesn't get much better than that!
Here are 5 additional reasons you don't want to miss out:

#1 -- Find out how Data Analytics Accelerator (DAX) technology is setting the big data world on fire. There will be a number of DAX-focused activities at OpenWorld 2016 (search the session catalog on "data analytics"), or stop by our booth at Moscone South 637 to see how DAX APIs are accelerating application performance (see this blog for more info).
#2 -- The Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Platform [GEN7610] - Don't miss out on the chance to hear from John Fowler (EVP, Systems) and his infrastructure
thought leaders for a glimpse into the next decade of
enterprise computing (Monday @ 1:45pm @ the Oracle Cloud Plaza on Howard Street).
#3 -- Larry Ellison keynote - There's no excuse for attending Oracle OpenWorld and not seeing Larry Ellison on Sunday evening as he alone opens the kimono on the future product strategy for Oracle.  Wealth aside, you have to be a bit fascinated with the fact that at 72 years young he continues to be extremely involved in Oracle's strategic direction as the reigning Executive Chairman and CTO of the company.
#4 -- Next Generation Solaris Technology — See a preview of the next release of Oracle Solaris and all the breakthrough capabilities that will come with it. On Tuesday, September 20 at 11am at the Marriott Marquis hotel, Markus Flierl, VP, Software Development, will provide an overview of what's in the new release as well as the investments beyond [more here].
#5 -- BEERS with ENGINEERS - each afternoon (Mon - Wed) you can wander over to the Infrastructure showcase area [see map - nearly 10,000 sq. ft. of area] to grab a FREE BEER with Oracle Engineers and discuss the technical aspects of Oracle’s engineered
systems, servers, storage, and networking development.  I hear there are even some nice beer mugs getting passed out.

Looking forward to seeing you there!
