I'll be at PHP Quebec this week

Christopher Jones
Senior Principal Product Manager

I'll be at PHP Quebec this week - I'm hoping that Spring brings warmth in the next few days.

Last week I heard that PHP-Oracle books sell well in Canada and this seems reflected in the number of Oracle sessions scheduled at the conference.

I'm sure attendees will hear some good Oracle tips and not only at my sessions. Roberto
Mansfield from the University of Pennsylvania has a talk "Leveraging the power of Oracle with PHP" on Friday.

Hope to see you there.

Your talk was great. Sorry about the technical difficulties, but I didn't mind. I wanted to chat with you afterwards, but I was tired, other people were attacking you, and I figured I could bug you through email later. I've been working on the CakePHP Oracle driver. I'm new to both Cake and Oracle so it's been interesting. It was great to hear about upcoming Oracle features as well. Overall, I thought you did a great job even though you had to rush. Can you please post your slides so I can review them? Thanks!

The talk about Oracle was great. Didn't hear all of it (too busy), but it was sure worth it. I never used it with PHP but having about 3 years of experience with Oracle I do know that it is powerful.

Thanks Jeff. Luckily they were attacking with interest not aggression. My slides are up on the PHP Developer Center. Anna, I know you were busy organizing the conference so it was pleasing you managed to spend some time in my session. Your efforts made the conference a great success and will help it in the next few years too.
