Installing Oracle Database 11g on Ubuntu

Paul Vallee from Pythian emailed me that they have a new installation guide out. The name says it all:
Installing Oracle 11gR1 on Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex.

Comments:

Nice howto. Now how do you continue and install/configure apahce, php and the Oracle client in order for everything to work together so that you have a complete OPAL webserver? [Start with http://www.oracle.com/technology/tech/php/pdf/underground-php-oracle-manual.pdf -- Chris]

I've sent Paul Vallee an email to find out where the article has gone.

This morning Paul said "that install guide should be back live now. Sorry about that - we launched a new http://www.pythian.com yesterday!"
