JavaServer Faces & Quicken Online

You just never know where Java technology will turn up next. According to a CNET blog entryIntuit is creating an online version of its Quicken personal financial application.

The part that's most interesting to me? Yep, you guessed it, the interface is built in Java technology. Specifically, they are using JavaServer Faces (JSF).
.
For more info on JSF and what it is, there's lots of good information on the JSF page.

In addition, check out Ed Burns' blog -  he's the co-spec lead for JSF, so he's in on all the discussions around the JSR for JSF 2.0.

As for Quicken Online? We'll have to wait for more updates from Intuit on the availability date.
