Top 3 questions from StarOffice availability via Google Pack announcement

Last week we announced StarOffice being distributed by the Google Pack software download service from Google. Since then we have received a lot of queries from many people.

The top one: Is Sun giving away StarOffice for free now that it is available for free from Google Pack?
The answer: No, we are NOT giving away StarOffice for free. Sun's StarOffice list price of $69.95 remains unchanged.

How come?
We have many distributors of StarOffice around the world distributing this product online, offline and in publications. Google is one of our  distributors of StarOffice. Distributors can charge what they like for StarOffice and have the freedom to decide what services they offer when they distribute StarOffice.

So, if Google Pack was to distribute a office productivity suite for free, then why StarOffice and not OpenOffice.org?
This question should be directed to Google.
