Guess the correct film using Lustre -- and you're eligible for a chance to win a movie ticket!

The Lustre file system was used for the rendering of a feature film that opens in theaters nationwide today. Guess the correct name of the movie, and you're eligible for a chance to win an AMC Gold Experience ticket, worth approximately $10. (Just a note, if you check the official rules -- Sun employees and their families are not eligible to enter. Sorry!) Just send an e-mail to Lustrefilm@sun.com with the name of the movie, along with your full name, title, company, mailing address, telephone number and email address. Correct answers will be entered into a drawing to be held on Monday. Four lucky winners will each receive a movie ticket. Full rules can be found here.

The Lustre file system redefines scalability and provides groundbreaking I/O and metadata throughput. For the company that used Lustre to render this movie -- in addition to special effects sequences in previous films -- Lustre helped them dramatically increase I/O performance, scalability and reliability. It also gave them double the storage, at less cost than competing solutions.

So, if you think you know the answer, or simply want to hazard a guess, make sure to send an e-mail to Lustrefilm@sun.com with the name of the movie, along with your full name, title, company, mailing address, telephone number and email address. The answer and more details will be revealed on Monday! Here's the legal stuff:

Disclosure: No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited. Open to legal residents of U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) and Canada (excluding Quebec) 18 years or older. Entrants are responsible for complying with their employers' policies regarding acceptance of promotional items. Entries accepted from 12/19/2008 to 12/21/2008. Four (4) winners will receive one (1) AMC Gold Experience™ Ticket ($10 USD). For complete Official Rules, visit http://blogs.sun.com/ontherecord/resource/Lustre_blog_SweepsRules_12-18-08.pdf.
