Screencast: Configuring a Local IPS Repository Mirror

I've had my local IPS repository mirror running for about 1 month now and I find it extremely beneficial. So much so that I've gone ahead and produced a short 6 minute screencast on the process of creating it (although it takes much longer than that to set up as you need to wait for files to download and copy - the joys of editing screencasts).

Hi Brian,

Is it possible create a local repository mirror for a developer version? I need to create a mirror for snv_126.

Thanks.

Hi Viteri,

As far as I know, the ISO is only made available for the release repository.

Hi Brian, thanks for you answer.
If i can't create a local repository for devel version, how can i set the devel repository (opensolaris.org) to use only build_126?
Thanks

Hi Viteri,

There's an enhancement request for that:

http://defect.opensolaris.org/bz/show_bug.cgi?id=3436

There's instructions for how to do it manually in the bug report. Looks like a good topic for another blog entry :-).
