INI files support available

Hi all, today I would like you to inform that NetBeans supports INI files. These files are important not only for Zend Framework users but also for others as INI file is often used for configuration. So, here is an example file:

INI File Support

As usually, one can easily create a new INI file using File > New File... and also, all the colors can be changed in Tools > Options > Fonts & Colors (one has to select INI File) .

That's all for today, as always, please test it and report all the issues or enhancements you find in NetBeans IssueZilla (component php, subcomponent Code). Please notice that if you write a comment here but do not report a bug or enhancement, nothing will probably happen ;)

Indeed! Finally we may edit a php.ini in NetBeans with no need for a second editor anymore. Good job!

No zend tools support in this build!

  • Tomas Mysik Wednesday, March 31, 2010

To Italo A. Albanese: Sorry, no idea what you mean.

    To Tomas Mysik:

In build 201002152000 I can right-click on a open project and run Zend tools commands. In this builds there is no "zend" submenu.

    very nice...

sad it's not available as a plugin...

would have tested it right away within 6.9M1

I hope this will be included in 6.9 as well

To Italo A. Albanese: Not sure what "this builds" means exactly but ZF support is available in the development builds. If something does not work for you, please, report a bug with your NB version and steps to reproduce.

    To Tomas Mysik:

I know that ZF support is available, I use it every day! I only would say that it should not have been disabled. The build[s] I tested was in NetBeans-dev-2010-03-31_09-03-39-php.zip and, by the way, it seems ok for .ini support.

  • Italo A. Albanese Wednesday, March 31, 2010

BTW, I use the 6.9M1 version. Maybe the ".dev" build starts from another version?

  • Tomas Mysik Wednesday, March 31, 2010

    To Italo A. Albanese:

    - "dev" is the current (latest) development version (URL is in the blog post)

    - ZF support has not been disabled so you perhaps found a bug - please report it with steps to reproduce (again, URL is in the blog post)

    Thanks.

    Hi!

Can you add "copy as RTF" and "copy as HTML" features to code editor?

Very usefull when you need to post code samples on the internet. Look at TextEd (program) to see how it's done (submenu to copy).
