Just got the following e-mail.  Gonna be busy next week.

Voting on the Nashorn Project with initial Lead Jim Laskey [1] is

closed.

Yes:  20
Veto:  0
Abstain:  0

According to the Bylaws definition of Lazy Consensus, this is
sufficient to approve the new Project and its initial Lead.

Congrats! Nashorn looks like an awesome step, especially if it will be compatible with NodeJS apps. I think it'd be really useful to us at Atlassian. What's the best way for us to contribute?

Btw, what's the state of Node.jar currently? Is there something I can play with? Currently a bit hard for me to find info on Nashorn in general, outside of presentation slides.

Not meaning to be evasive -- we are trying to determine a sustainable plan for Node.jar. It takes time.
