As many of you already know, MySQL is turning 30 this year! The official date is May 23.
During the entire calendar year, we will celebrate this milestone all around the globe.
We started in Belgium with the first event of the year: preFOSDEM MySQL Belgian Days.

The next main celebrations will be in Taipei on February 18, in Japan on March 25, combined with the 25th-year celebration of MyNA, and in California for the MySQL & HeatWave Summit on April 22-23.
The call for participation for the California Summit is still open until February 15th, so don't waste time—submit!

It is in 2011 that lefred joined Percona, one of the leading MySQL-based specialists. He decided to join the MySQL Community Team in 2016 as a MySQL Community Manager for EMEA & APAC.
