    What about additional costs... transfer costs, upgrade \ cross grade costs, training costs, maintenance costs.

    This is overly simplistic. Time to try a different marketing apporach people, this is a bit old fashioned.

    Thanks for your comment. The estimated savings are based on licenses, support & maintenance costs, but if you factor in training and on-going management then they will probably be even higher considering MySQL's ease of use and administration.
