Gather and Query Metrics with MySQL Performance Schema

The Performance Schema is a system database which makes it easy to gather performance metrics and query them using SQL. The data is stored in temporary tables and views, with little or no persistent disk storage.

To learn more about tuning MySQL performance, you can take the MySQL Performance Tuning course. This 4-day course is available in the following formats:

  • Training-on-Demand: Start training within 24 hours of registration. Follow lectures at your own pace through streaming video and book time on a lab environment to suit your own schedule.
