As an update on the previous blog about where you can find MySQL (from April 2015) please find below more details about incoming conferences and our plans for those events.

  • August 2015:
    • Mountain Moodle Moot, Minneapolis, MN, US (August 4-6, 2015) 
    • Texas Linux Fest, 2015, San Marcos, TX, US (August 21-22, 2015)
      • Talk on: MySQL's NoSQL by David Stokes is planned for August 22, 2015 @10:40am

    • COSCUP, Taipei, Taiwan (August 15-16, 2015)
      • Ivan Tu, The Principal MySQL Sales Consultant has planned following slots at COSCUP 2015:
        • Workshop: MySQL Fabric on August 15, 2015 @3:10-5:00 pm
        • Regular talk on: DbaaS with MySQL and Openstack on August 16 @2:10-2:50pm

    • Debian Conference, Heidelberg, Germany (August 15-22, 2015)
      • There are two approved talks given by Norvald H. RyengMySQL Senior engineer:

    • Froscon 2015, Sankt Augustin, Germany (August, 22-23, 2015)
      • Unfortunately there is no approved MySQL talk at Froscon this year, however please find our colleague Carsten Thalheimer, the MySQL specialist at MySQL talk in expo area.
  • September 2015:
    • Pacific Northwest PHP, Seattle, WA, US (September 11-12, 2015)
      • Talk on: Why are Databases so &#%-ing Difficult? by Dave Stokes, MySQL Community Manager scheduled for September 11, 2015 @10-10:50am
    • PHP Unconference 2015, Hamburg, Germany (September 19-20, 2015)
      • Same as in previous years we are going to staff this conference. Also same as in previous years there is no pre-announced talk schedule. All talks will be chosen on place by attendees!
    • WebExpo, Prague, Czech republic (September 19-20, 2015)
      • Talk on MySQL 5.7 + JSON (Intermediate) by Morgan Tocker, The MySQL Community Manager
