JET 4.4.7 available externally

As a follow-on to my previous post, JET 4.4.7 is now available externally. Check the JET wiki which has a link to the download.

Also have a look at the JET User Guide which has now been posted on the wiki. I expect this to grow over time, but its a conversion from the original user guide with updates for correctness.

Maybe i have understand something wrong or it can be a bug. We tried to use IPMP with JET and it don't work. After the Reboot the postinstall Script is executed but the IPMP is not setup. I looked into the script and it is not setup due to this statement 'if [ "(" "${JS_primif}" = "${JS_netif}" -o "${JS_primif}" = "${JS_netif2}" ")" -a "(" "${JS_hostname}" != "`uname -n`" -o "${JS_address}" != "${base_config_sysidcfg_ip_address}" ")" -o "${base_config_client_allocation}" = "wanboot" ]; then' .
So, IPMP will never be setup if not the Primary interface is involved and also you must set a different hostname/ip for the host as at installtime. This make no sense to me.

IPMP can get set up in a variety of places, depending on when JET decides it is safe to do so.

The IPMP config is run during "install" part, and will defer the config to postinstall if the Primary interface is involved. The postinstall code you looked at is ONLY for the case where the PRIMARY interface is installed.

Suggest you have a look at http://wikis.sun.com/display/JET, and subscribe to the mailing list, where you can ask the community for help getting your IPMP config right.

Where is this mailing list you speak of, I can't seem to find it.

Thanks,
Josh
