Gartner has named Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP a Leader in the 2022 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Cloud ERP for Product-Centric Enterprises. Once again, we are placed the highest and furthest right, reflecting Gartner evaluation of our ability to execute and completeness of vision. We’re happy to offer a complimentary copy of the report to our readers.

Gartner MQ Product Centric

This is the fourth consecutive time that Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP has been named a Leader in this report. We were also recently named a Leader in the first Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Cloud ERP for Service-Centric Enterprises.

We believe Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP is the most-awarded ERP solution over at least the last 10 years. It’s a track record built on innovation and a customer-first mindset. It’s reflective of the way we incorporate AI, IoT, and UX advances across a wide array of processes in ways that deliver meaningful value for our customers. It’s a level of trust that we have worked hard to earn with leading (and demanding) companies in every industry.

Every day it becomes increasingly clear that we aren’t going back to the way things were. Companies with agile technology, workforces, and routes to market—companies ready for change—have tremendous opportunities ahead of them.

Designed for change, built for you

We’re proud of our customer base, the largest cloud ERP community in the market. We believe they populate every product-centric industry around the world and are key part of evaluation by Gartner.

We believe our strong track record of customer success helped us reach where we are:

  • Corsair decisively invested in inventory visibility and financial impact modeling of shipping delays to predict disruptions before they unfold
  • Chipotle sharpened its planning and became more responsive to changing conditions thanks to a clearer view across financial and operational systems
  • Hormel Foods supports its portfolio of 50-plus iconic brands on a single cloud platform, giving them a competitive advantage in M&A activity
  • Sumitomo Bakelite standardized processes across 4 geographies and established a single ERP platform for global expansion
  • General Dynamics Mission Systems streamlined the entire order-to-cash process and gained near real-time visibility into metrics and KPIs across every aspect of the business
  • Alcar Ruote built more flexible and effective planning and order management processes on a fully integrated, modern, cloud environment.

Industry boundaries have never been more blurred and business models have never been more diverse. Our customers are turning to Oracle Cloud ERP for nimbler processes that help them pivot faster when opportunities and challenges emerge. This is happening quietly and quickly as market-leading companies look for new competitive advantages or loudly and with haste as companies pivot to face new upstarts or market forces. For product-centric enterprises, that could mean a shift from selling goods to selling capabilities. Are your accounting systems up to the task of integrating a variety of revenue models in near real-time? Perhaps you’re shifting focus to mass customization and direct-to-consumer motions. Can your logistics systems deliver to your largest customers and an individual retail order simultaneously? I imagine you might be at least considering new production locations or production partners. Are your HR systems up to the task of recruiting, hiring, and managing a global workforce?

The business processes and IT systems that enable these pivots are markedly different from the best practices many companies implemented with their ERP systems a decade or more ago. Innovation needs to be constant; your markets don’t change once every 4 or 5 years. Capacity needs to scale up and down and shift across the globe seamlessly. Your entire organization needs to speak the same language and work from a single source of truth. If you roll out new business models or processes, everyone needs to be able to localize and adopt them rapidly. Pilot projects can’t take years and value needs to be measurable in months.

Ready for what’s next, whatever and wherever that may be

We’re confident Oracle Cloud ERP can meet your needs today and however those needs may evolve in the future. If you know Oracle, this probably isn’t a surprise. After all, we’ve been continuously transforming and innovating since the days of being a small database provider.

Whether you’re an automotive manufacturer or packaging provider, a distributor or a consumer products company, the challenges and opportunities are coming faster and with greater impact. So, what’s coming next? It’s probably anyone’s guess, really. But one thing is clear: You need an ERP and technology partner with a proven history of customer success, innovation, and adaptability.
