We are happy to announce the release of the new Oracle Mobile Application Framework

The framework that allows you to develop cross device, cross OS mobile applications faster

Leveraging the experience we gathered from Oracle ADF Mobile, the new framework offers many new features including:

Choice of IDEs - Integrated development in both Eclipse and Oracle JDeveloper 12.1.3.

Technology Choice - Use our Java based framework for a declarative development experience, or use any HTML5/JavaScript library. And you can mix both in the same application.

New UI components - richer set of over 80 UI components help you simplify rich mobile development.

Cordova plug-in support - Extend the framework to integrate with additional device features.

Custom components -  Create your own components and add them to your mobile UI.

Advanced Customization - layered customization through Oracle's MDS capabilities - now for mobile apps

Extended Security - Integrating with Oracle's Mobile security capabilities to add OAuth and Web-SSO support, and many other capabilities.

If you've been using Oracle ADF Mobile until today, pick up your application  and open it in the new Oracle JDeveloper for a smooth technical migration experience to the new framework.

Yesterday Oracle released the new Oracle SOA Suite 12.1.3.

One of the key areas of interest for mobile developers is the all new Oracle Service Bus 12.1.3.

One thing that will make many of the mobile developers who are using Oracle's tool to develop mobile apps is that the service bus design time experience has been integrated into the all new JDeveloper 12.1.3. So now you have a single tool that allows you to build mobile back-ends as well as mobile front-ends.
