JavaFX TV Design Guidelines

Check out the article Larry and Jim put together. There is a number of useful tips for JavaFX TV application developers covering limitations and specifics of the TV interface.
Comments:

I have read this article before but I still dont know how to integrate my application on the set-top box.
I have a set-top box.
How can I connect my application to the set-top box and finally I can control my application through the TV ?
Where can I find information about the architecture about JavaFx - set-top box and TV ?
And hout to run JavaFx through set-top box ?
Can you help me, please ?

Kind regard,

Thank you for the comment!

As of version 1.3.1 JavaFX TV is only available in the form of an emulator that is part of Java FX.

The new version of JavaFX (2.0) is in the works which will be a major change compared with 1.x and we probably will have to wait for this version before we see commercial deployment of JavaFX in a set-top box environment.

When the new version of JavaFX 2.0 will come out ?

I need to know how to deploy JavaFX in a set-top box for my final work for my school.

And I have to give presentation about it next month, plus some demonstration.

My coordinator very exciting about it !

Do you think you can help me ?

You can find more about JavaFX 2.0 at http://javafx.com/roadmap/
Unfortunately this is not something that will be available within the next month.

We did demo proof-of-concept implementation of JavaFX running in a TV set-top box environment, but this implementation is (also unfortunately) not publicly available.

You can, however, download a JavaFX release for Windows mobile, but that runs on a phone, not on a set-top box.

And how can I proof that JavaFX can certainly run on set-top box ?

And when JavaFX 2.0 will come out ?
